This is not intended to do anything other than speed up photons,and that includes melting stuff. I do realise that this is not the same as a real rail gun, but it's about as close as you can realistically get WITHOUT ACEL.

    This is weak.. Very, very weak. You need to use some other kind of projectile, and fast.

    Travis_Steele: I think it is just for the realism because IRL there is no acel, however there are magnet guns.

    So they already invented magnet guns...gosh darn it. Pretty cool, although I have to say a bit simple.

    Very nice concept. Though this might not pertain to the concept of a railgun, I beleive that ACEL would make it fire much faster and much straighter.
