This is a fission reactor because the Powder Toy wiki states that neutrons are fissile with DEUT. -

This isn't fusion or fission, deut exploding when bombarded by neutrons doesn't mean fission, since deuterium is stable and it doesn't say 'fissile' in its description. If it was fissile, it wouldn't provide any energy, as Deuterium atoms' core isn't even close to how big a plutonium or uranium atom core is. -
