Thanks a tonne, alex. For anyone confused, open notepad and type in tpt.setfpscap() < Insert monitors FPS (refresh rate). For example, I have a 144 Hz monitor, so I typed tpt.setfpscap(144). Then, save that notepad file in the place where the Powder Toy executable, stamps folder and powder.pref files are, and name it autorun.lua, by selecting "all files" in the dropdown. +1, alex.
i am using 1000000 and it doesn't causes any bad issues (my processor 2.70 GHz) p.s if you will type 100 fps will not be able to reach highter number (i have 100-200 fps)
.lua i write because on my computer it's changes form of file to lua scripts
10000000 is just for those who have 3-9 core processor and they have realy big fps 10000000 is number of fps what can't be and it removes caps of fps for they
This did help me increase the framerate with some amendments: first, there is no longer a file with that name, but you can create it by saving a text document as "all files" with a .lua at the end of the file name. Also, the 1000000 to type in is unneccesary and a simple 100 would do the trick as you cannot see any difference beyond 100 FPS, and 1000000 FPS could cause monitor issues such as screen tearing. Overall it's good though and thanks for the tip. +1
