See rutheford experiments for more info. Particles (Electrons in this case) are shot in front of a gold pannel, someones pass trough the gold pannel, another ones reflects in 90 degrees, this proes Rutherford Atomic Model.

    They are, I don't know why they are only reflected at 45 or 90 degree angles though.

    i think the reflectede ones are the ones that bounced off the spark/ctype gold....
