I have a neutron engine (it doesn't start sometimes) which doesn't use cloned stuff as its fuel. Its fuel, of course, is supercompressed deuterium.

This is actually a pretty interesting for use as a weapon, maybe even a fusion drive rocket... The BOYL does not seem to be required for it to function, but it does seem to stabilize the reaction, causing the plasma stream to stay straight.... That almost sounded like technobabble from Star Trek or something, didn't it?
