Umm, to be honest, pistons really pull what it can push. So what is happening is that while it is going through, The NSCN will get pulsed and pull up the water, but the game actually finds the water is in air, so it drops back down to refill. (By the way, if you use PSCN on some parts, the water won't vaporize)
