Why does water while it is falling make an raindrop?It does because the raindrop allows the water to fall with the least wind recistance possible.Allowing it to then reach its maximum velocity quickly while staying uniformed.

    actually at maximum velocity, a "raindrop" is actually flipped over, which causes least resistance... a water droplet looks like the famous "raindrop" shape because there is little resistance for its short amount of air time
