    Mine doesn't...it uses a cold reaction. :P Actually...all of my saves can survive heat on. Some actually blow up with heat off.

    It's written: Neut and elec turn into HYGN. HYGN turns into NBLE. NBLE turns into CO2. CO2 turns into LOXY. LOXY and GRAV turn into molten bmtl (I think)

    I used hydrogen it took me 20 min. to blow the thing up but it was totally worth it

    Uh, not really. After the reaction is completely over, there is oxygen left in the reactor. This means that the reactor is not a self-terminating reactor, as it is incapable of shutting itself down.
