if you want to make useful suggestions, try looking at the source to see how it works. the best way to get something implemented is to do it yourself and show the code. thats why it is open source, so that people can add whatever they want, BUT for the official release, Simon keeps it clean of anything laggy/bad.
Developers read pretty much every suggestion, and some things get redundant in being rejected, but that still doesn't prevent someone from making it.
@Gamewizard71 Many other games have moving solids such as Phun, but those games are made from source codes that are not even remotely close to TPT's source code. TPT's source was made in a way that you would have to reformat the entire code to allow for moving solids, because the way that the source is, allows for many functions (that aren't in Phun or most other physics simulators) that are necessary. It would take 5 times longer than it did to make version 43 to remake the code to allow for moving solids, which would cause many problems and glitches with other elements... This also applies for many other suggestions. If you don't believe me, learn a programming language and then read the code yourself and compare it to other games. Then you will understand...
This is crazy. THIS ISNT PHYSICS TOY!!! It started as a air flow simulator! You go and code the THOUSANDS of lines of code for particle collisions and what not. We are not your slaves. We are not going to implement a feature just because " Iwant it to be cool." Also, half the crap you ask for is beyond what this game is capable of. If you want moving solids or realistic water, go play a game with it and stop asking for this crap! I dont care if you dont like what I have to say! I spent years Re writting the powder toy to have moving solids and realistic liquids and magnetics. If you want these things go do it yourself and see how hard it is to code ONE equation for one collison of a particle. Go see how many hundreds of lines of code to do that one collision takes up.
