    There's a difference between improving someones work and giving credit where due, and simply re-saving someones work without modifications under your own name. This isn't as much of a problem with the public/private system.

    thats a hard one, i dont think ive seen anything like that b4, i guess, he is threatening, stealing, what simon said, and as far as i can tell just a flat out idiot. ban the ip address? just an idea.

    Just hidden it for now, if it happens again, then I'll take further action.
    But it would be interesting to know who the original owner is, and what "PLC" is.

    just to reply to a prvious comment: I don't mind if someone uses my stuff provided that they mention that i created the original AND that they improve it in some way.

    so for example ml99 who was stealing my stuff NEVER mentioned that it belonged to me (which is dumb because my name was in the title) and he didn't even improve it in any way, he basically just opened one of my scenes and re-saved it without doing ANYTHING.

    but if two users contact each other and say that they're going to be working together on a project them it's fine in my opinion. Although to be safe they should probably mention in the upload and on the forums that they're working together to prevent it from being deleted or something.

    Well, since moderation deletion is pretty much harmless (it only get "unpublished") it shouldn't be too much of a problem.
