I think this may happen if you try to edit an FFLD with an invalid mode. Can you tell me the FFLD's properties (including tmp4), exactly what you did up to the error, what version of the game you're using, and if you're using any other mods/scripts?

Found out the problem , it doesnt work if you have any more than one other script enabled (excl. the script manager), and it doesnt matter how complicated is the code of script

edit : probably other scripts set text to nil in code for some reason (based on error message  picture in one of my messages)

I use more than one other script enabled and I don't get errors when editing FFLD. Can you tell me which scripts you use that cause the error?

I figured it out, it's just careless use of global functions. Should be fixed in the next version of the script.

Hi, don't know if you already know about this or are planning to fix it, but copper superconductivity doesn't work with jacob1's mod. I'm going to have a look at the code to see if I can find a fix for it.

I wasn't aware of the issue, but if I had to guess it may be a difference in how Jacob1's mod and vanilla TPT handle SPRK. I may or may not be able to fix it depending on the nature of the issue.

Thanks for bringing it to my attention.

Two suggestions, you can pick one to implement.

Element suggestion: Plastic (PLST) - Solids
    Color: 0xf0f0e0
    Poor conductor of heat.
Brittile at low temperatures, where it breaks into Broken Plastic (BPLS) (Powders menu, color 0xd0d0aa).
PLST and BPLS melt at 200C into Molten Plastic (MPLS) (Liquids menu, color 0xe0e0c0). MPLS burns above 400C, producing lots of SMKE and CO2.
MPLS is formed when OIL or GAS is next to PTNM between 200-400C at high enough pressures.
    FNGS turns PLST into BPLS.

Element suggestion: Realistic gas (GAS2) - Gases
    Color: 0xc080c0
Obeys the universal gas law (pressure * volume = amount * temperature * some constant), with number of particles = volume and life = amount per particle (like MERC and DEUT). Amount of gas (sum of life values of particles) stays constant. When heated, expands if it can, otherwise increases pressure.
When pressurised, expands if it can, otherwise heats up.
If it can expand, a particle of GAS2 can split into two particles whose life combined is equal to the life of the previous particle, and the pressure decreases and it cools.
When GAS2 is pushed by PSTN onto another particle of GAS2, they form one GAS2 particle with life equivalent to the sum of those of the two, and the pressure increases and it heats up.

insulator is plastic plastic is insulator so its already added
when oil or gas next to pntm under heat it turns into insl genius
