    Just to clarify something,

    Apple added a clause in their terms of service to make jailbreaking LEGAL.

    Unlocking of a iPhone to use different networks or make free calls is ILLEGAL and if caught the person will be prosecuted.

    what about android phones i have an evo it has 512 mb of ram and a 1Ghz processor but it would be cool to have it on both my phone and my ipod touch

    Oh I thought Ofcom has passed a law, nevermind.

    Also with jailbreaking on your iPhone, it is impossible to break it. All you need to do is link it up to itunes and do a fresh installation. If only the xbox has a failsafe like that :(

    yea... well it is legal in the US anyway, i'm not sure about other countries.
    and yes it is impossible to 'brick' an iphone with software alone.

    i do know that in some of the Asian countries its illegal
