Electronics Mode

    I don't know how possible this would be as I have done very little coding, it also might not make a difference.

    What I think we should have is an electronics mode that would not take pressure, air (if that is actually any different), heat (except for what is needed for stuff like PTCT and NTCT to work and anything else that is usually going that would not be relevant when dealing with electronics only. Finally, there would be an increase in resolution which would be made possible (I hope) without reducing the frame rate by too much. As for recking saves which I know is the usual response for things like this, if something was posted in electronics mode then it would appear in electronics mode, if it was posted in normal mode then it would appear in normal mode.

    If your wondering why I would need a higher resolution then you obviously have not done much in the way of TPT electronics because if you had, you would know how easy it is to run out of room

    Isn't modes only changes the way you see the things? Not how they act?

    You can do anything within a mode for example:
    if(cmode==ELECTRONICS_MODE)
    {
    parts[i].temp=50;
    pv[y/CELL][x/CELL]=0;
    }
    Would program in all that apart from the higher resolution which cannot be achieved as you can't make a pixel any smaller, all I need to know is which .h folder defines views.

    Yea but in the official version of TPT, would developpers accept to put an mode that changes things like that? Personnaly, I wouldn't use it much

    Neither would I but it wouldn't break saves and their's no reason not to have it in also even if it isn' in the full version just download whatever mod it's in

    Why not just turn heat simulation off?

    As far as pressure goes, the less walls you use, the better pressure defuses. In most electronic saves pressure is not an issue.

    So you know, PTCT and NCTC will act differently in no heat sim. (Many electronics only work without heat simulation for this reason).

    Press "Y" and turn off heat simulation.
