i found a interesting game called the sandbox.i think it has many features that can be implemented in tpt.

    its adventages over tpt:

1:lasers that have many effects.for example:red laser heats stuff, blue laser cool, yellow laser give electricity.

2:LOTS of (both controllable and AI) moving solids.all solid element can be moved with the "Braininc"element, and with controllable humans you can make a arena and fight with the AI.

3:campaigns that makes more ways to play.

    cons:

    1:not 100% free,elements need unlocking

    2:big pixel,low space

    3:lag with moving solids

overall, its a good alternative for tpt on ios.go download one and have fun with it

"1:lasers that have many effects.for example:red laser heats stuff, blue laser cool, yellow laser give electricity."
You can change the temperature of photons to make them cool/heat stuff. You can also turn photons into electrons by making them go through BIZR or BIZS, that makes them give electricity.

"2:LOTS of (both controllable and AI) moving solids.all solid element can be moved with the "Braininc"element, and with controllable humans you can make a arena and fight with the AI."
Sadly, moving solids can't be added. We have two types of stickmen and both of them can shoot anything you want them to shoot!
That Braininc element can be made in this game by making a square of pistons that are being controlled by the movements of a stickman. It's complicated though.

"3:campaigns that makes more ways to play."
    Powder toy saves!

That's all I got, I played that game before, it's really fun, but I still think powder toy is better.

There are indeed a few particle sandbox games that have features that TPT does not. However, I have yet to see any of these alternative even match, let alone beat the overall experience and quality of TPT. Plus, how many of these games can be extended with Lua like TPT can be?

Games like these fragment the falling sand genre and poison Google results away from great games like TPT.

At the same time, however, it gives us an opportunity to lead others to TPT because they are so unhappy with whatever falling-sand game they just bought..

Unfortunately you can't really make marketing campaigns for FOSS games. The closest thing is Greenlight; even if you get rejected your community gets a huge boost. Or press releases, if you are really that naive :/

that is not the full function of the Braininc.in the sandbox it can power circuits, install various modules(button, pulsar, switch, fall, tilt, dock),and operate machines

if the sandbox is ported to pc,it may add lua or similiar functions

thats probably cause you'll need to unlock all the elements(except soil stone and water)

Edit:tpt is for the nerds and i feel im not educated enough to play tpt like all others

It's not really for nerds, you just need to figure out what does what and how that thing can be useful. It's not really that hard.
Same thing applies for the sandbox, when you start creating stuff, you have no idea what all of these things are, you just have to try all of them and figure it out.

The only exception (there could be more) is that the sandbox has tutorials and courses, but the powder toy doesn't. You just need to scan the wiki page and figure it out yourself which is the sad thing.

TPT cannot have moving solids. If you want moving solids, computers can lag, not to mention you basically need to recode TPT, as the current engine doesn't support those kind of moving solids. Not to mention, The Sandbox doesn't have physics as realistic as TPT. I've playd it myself, and I believe that moving solids (other than pistons) should be left out of TPT.
