In the wake of a few suggestions to change the way FP is displayed and presented, I came up with an idea.
What if instead of a revamped FP, we added a Recommended for You section? This would display random saves with tags similar to those of other saves you have liked. Lets say you liked a few saves with the tags 'spaceship' and 'laser' and 'bomb'. The RfY section would search for saves with those tags, trying to get as many similar tags as it can in one save.
Im no expert programmer, so I dont know how hard this would be to code and subsequently implement.
Leave suggestions, comments, and your opinion please!

That would be a nice idea, although the problem would be for example a save has a bunch of tags such as awesome lalalala thistagisuseless then you might end up with a totally random save that isn't recommended, and considering most saves have random tags it might not work well. Shouldn't be too hard although it would probably have to be server sided.

Erroneous tags could be excluded through a whitelist of tags

Not really. It'd just be simple stuff like laser, space, bomb, etc. Like the most common tags you can choose from on the FP page.

@Factorial (View Post) what if someone inserts everything in one save? that way people can tag them.
for example: a spaceship with an awesome laser equipped in it with a bomb that destroys that spaceship and some complicated electronics that control the ship with realistic spaceview outside the spaceship. -
I agree with Synergy. People can search for tags to find saves they like, and moderating tags on saves is a difficult job.
