Front page system

FP system has too many noobs, upvoting bad things and down voting good things...
For example, if you made a replica of the first computer(if possible) you go nowhere
While, if you make soming like two squars the exact same size and say find the diff = front week for weeks.
For example The SNICKERS, TAST THE RAINBOW is a save only has clone thay makes exot then contacts with elec to make colurful exot then goes to a portal in and pops up above a 3 srds of a circle the missing srd repesents a mouth and has void and its the dumest thing i have seen but so far is been front page for a day or 2

The front page works from votes... thats all. If people vote up rainbows, then rainbows will get there.
Unless you have a way to automatically determine the quality of the contents of a save programmatically, then the user voted system will have to stay.
The rainbow save is very pretty, what kind of things would you rather have? Copying an old computer/save is not going to get you anywhere (because people think you are trying to get credit for it, and may report you). It is a place for original creations to get some more attention. A save can only stay on the front page for one week.

People like those frontpage things and vote, downvote themselves. There's nothing bad. If you fell sick, then assume that your saves got fp, and you can vote or downvote your own saves and vote. I'm sure you'll downvote all your saves, or at least none of your saves will get fp. I have looked at all your saves, none of them deserve to be there. Also none of your saves ever got fp.

The system is based on votes and time. It can't recognize between good and bad saves. And something bad for a user may be something good for another. So the way it is now is really okay. -
Yeah, he might, because I'm not sure how stupid he is (I didn't say he's stupid, I just said I don't know how stupid he is).
If TPT would have alot of active admins/moderators (about 10-20), could it be done so that they choose what saves are good enough to be put in the FP.

...We already do that o_o You don't need a team of 20 people, they'd just sit around and not do it :P
After you have one or two people checking most recent every week or so looking for something decent, having more people becomes redundant. We already typically drop/add to the front page.

Well maybe no one cares about a replica of the first computer then?
The front page system is a democracy, the common players are choosing what gets there, not some stupid arbitrary third party.
The system is nice as it is.
