Electron beam fails to strike metal

    My electron beam cannot spark metal somehow as shown in a save I made(How do I post saves?)

     

    I am certain this should not happen.

    I think it might be when the particles bounce off, it bounces, but the electrons do not contact. When the electrons don't contact, the engine thinks it's not conducting.

    That should be easily fixed, just need to get metal to scan a larger area per frame.

    NO! That's not how it works and would break things. It's in the electrons, not the metal.
