Piston "Glitches" (?)

I noticed when I was working on one of my saves, The gasses were moving with the piston. though that's mainly what TPT pistons are supposed to do, but if you have a piston in real life and use it, the gasses don't dragged down alltogether. It would only move to fill the low pressure area. Could someone tell me if it's a bug or a feature?

Pistons literally just push other elements with them. That's all they do.
Happen them to be gasses, it just pushes with just like any other element.

The pistons in the game are only a very simple simulation of what could happen, they have other problems such as not being able to maintain the structure of complex shapes, as far as I can see, that's always going to be the case.

A possible solution would be to have pistons that push everything immediately in the pathway instead of waiting for contact with the shape. You might need horizontal and vertical variants, however. Even now, pistons can maintain gaps in the structure of simpler shapes.

no. pushing everything without coming into contact will RUIN it's current use.

How about a second type of pistons, then.

Don't allow crap to get embeded in frame by itself. This is a nasty bug that's making me angry. D:< That is what WARP is for!
