You can sort of do this already, for example:
!set ctype clne lava
!set tmp clne salt

This will produce molten salt.
But this method only works with CLNE because other particles do not have sub ctypes.

However, you must realise that ctype is a property, there is no "ctype of ctype"

That's what I said. However you do not realise that there are compatibility issues with this.
