    TPIP: Temperature-Dependent pipe

Description: Temp determines a temperature threshold, based on tmp

    tmp:

1- Particles above threshold pass through

2- Particles under threshold pass through

3- Particles equal to threshold pass through

    Uses:

Sorting Machines (improved version of Mineral Refinery on second page)

    Thermometers (Glow passing through)

    Temperature-operated logic gates

I like the idea, maybe somehow implement it to current pipe.

Nice idea, though it can be solved with already existing elements using TSNS and PPIP.

for 1, hook up TSNS to PPIP and relay the PSCN charge to NSCN with DLAY or any other fancy way of making the PPIP only stay on when sufficient temperature particles are present.

for 2, same as 1 but with an inverter for the TSNS output.

for 3, two particles of TSNS, one set to the wanted temperature -1 degree, one with the wanted temperature. The TSNS with the wanted definite temperature should be hooked up to an inverter. The outputs from the inverted TSNS and the other TSNS should be hooked up with an AND gate which has its output to the PPIP.

It SHOULD solve it and if there's anything you want to be clarified I'd be happy to make a save containing the mechanisms

This would save a ton of space.

actually, it could be made very compact and TPT is partially about creating mechanisms using already existing elements rather than implementing new elements for the sole purpose
