Electro Magnet ELMG

I know this has been suggested numerous times, but hear me out on this.

    Electromagnet ELMG

Picks up broken metal when turned on, drops it when turned off. If you do it right, (knowing how to use electronics) you can even move the broken metal sideways to where you can create complex creations including smelting factories and otehr types of creations. In order to turn it on, it would need to have a full spark unlike powered elements which needs to be sparked once with nscn and pscn. Another suggestion would be to make it to where we can make all of the different types of metal by mixing different existing elements together. For instance, mixing STNE and NEUT creates BMTL. BRMT and METL makes IRON. IRON and QRTZ would make TTAN. BRMT and DEUT would make MERC. This would add a lot more simulators and give a lot more uses to ELMG. It would also satisfy the people that have been wanting magnets in the game for a long time. Another thing it could do is if you make the magnet large enough, it would break bmtl and move it out of the way. ELMG would be temp resistant to 2500 C and would be able to withstand pressure.

As usual, please give your opinions about this. No flaming, and think before you post. Thanks

Sorry to rain on your parade, but I think the force elements can do almost the same, and when matched with powered pipe, this sort of becomes irrelevant. But for the fact that it is a type of force element for metal, that in itself is very cool.

Your post time is 22:20:20. :D

Hmm...a force element that only picks up metallic elements (excluding DEUT).....i can see another use of this in guns.

How would you determent a source of magnet "big enough" to break bmtl too? That would require a set number of particles which could be tricky with saves trying to utilize the effect with only a little of magnet and bmtl. See where I am going with this?

    since when is deut metal?
The deut in game is deuterium oxide, an deuterium is just a heavier isotope of hydrogen, which can hadly be considered metal

I know Deuterium Oxide isn't a metal, but i was just in a rush just to make the term right @.@

Maybe the tmp2 value of BMTL can determine how strong the magnets need to be to break BMTL.

I never thought of a use as a weapon but that is how rail guns work so that would be pretty awesome. As far as how strong the ELMG is, I have thought of that. The colder it is, the stronger it is. BUT you cant just set the temp and forget about it, you have to keep it cold in order for it to stay strong. This would be the first element of its type to work that way.
