can anyone tell me how to make a one way gate for gases? i want to make oxygen go into a chamber to react with boyle and produce water. i used the wall that only allows gases to pass through so that the water does not go near the CLNE that makes the gases. but sometimes the gases go into each other's chamber and mess up what the clones are producing. so can anyone help?

The ctype of clone can only be changed manually or through the console.

Basically, if you first make the clones clone gases, then it won't magically change to water unless you draw water on top of the clone.

Yes use pipe. Also you can set the ctype of STOR to only suck up one type of particle. Or set the ctype of VOID to only clear one type of particle.

Also, if you want to do it with ol' fashoined wall, you need a wall blocking everything but gases, then a detector wall, and finally, an E-wall.

    F-Fan

    G-gas wall

    GFFG

^do that and direct the fan whichever way you intend the gas to move.

I liked sergent_starfruit's way. it worked and i am very happy. I used portals to transport the gases before, but now i can do it with walls and so it is very realistic. Thanx to all who replied.(this is my first thread)
