    no, stop, stop... your lack of knowledge of astronomy is killing me... like saying mars comes after Uranus

    Neptune is composed of Hydrogen and helium as well as some colder substances like ice, ammonia, and methane on the surface and deep into the planet (its a gas giant, its mostly made of gas. but I guess you just learned that). deeper in you get even more ice ammonia and methane. The core is made if iron nickel and sillicates.

    WTH is with this whole "there's like, diamond rivers in neptune man, and like, entire iceburgs of diamond too, man, the goverment has secret mission there to get some man, so they can oppress us man, and so they can't make it in the powder toy man, because its on neptune"

    no, no, NO!

    </astronomical rant>

    dude, we have gravity bomb, which makes no sense, life elements that don't exist in real life, boyle and glow are just plain imaginary, and all the walls, do you really think that there are indestructible walls that only allow pressure in real life? all the special elements are just non-existent (ill give you insl, that exist), exot doesn't exist, plut doesn't work like it should in real life, uran doesn't either, titanium doesn't block pressure in real life, flint in real life doesn't bend light and can be easily destroyed, shld, invs, doesn't exist, liquid nitrogen boils into nothing, oxygen doesn't have a solid state, hydrogen doesn't have a liquid state, noble gas doesn't have a liquid state, c-5 doesn't exist, eqve, anar, grav, mort, frzz, frzw dont exist, fog and rime dont work like they're suppose to, and all of our electronics act like superconductors.

    ^that is why TPT is not realistic. I can easily say that now.

    (anyone who wants to make a realistic version of TPT, there's your suggstions)

    </Realism rant>

    There is no chance a dev will change diamond. Ever.

    I think most of you read the title, not the post. At the same time, Senor Waffle3z made the mistake of having a title totaly unrelated to the OP. Anyway...

    >You dont need to MELT diamond, I think he means have a new element that, under extreme pressure, freezes into diamond. Carbon could be an alternative that doesn't break saves, and would have substantial uses. Also, powder carbon would be available. Carbon would change into powder carbon the same way COAL turns into BCOL but at a lower pressure.

    -Hardening into diamond

    -Breaking into a mixture of BCOL and CLST (or carbon powder)

    -When carbon powder mixes with PSTE and is melted, it hardens into CNCT.

    -When radiated with neutrons, carbon would turn into wood. (if possible, it would be a good idea to remove this function from wood)

    Even then, why would we add an element For the sole purpose of turning into diamond?

    keeping in mind that dmnd's sole

    purpose was to be completely inert; it cant turn into anything and anything cant turn into it.

    and how did you get all those features from his one sentence post?

    Powder toy is ment to be a falling sand sandbox. Total realism isn't able to achieve, also, an indestructable element is always needed.. Btw, you can just make lava and '!set ctype lava dmnd', to make dmnd lava.

    That's his 'better suggestion'.

    Diamond melts. It doesn't in TPT. It should melt in TPT because diamonds can melt. DMND's name should be replaced with something else, and a new DMND should be created with proper properties.

     This thread is really going nowhere, and @Waffle3z isnt expanding on the topic.

    You just had a ton of input and reasoning from a load of users and you still have not learnt anything -_-
