I am new to powder toy and I think its awesome. But I can only save when I'm connected to the internet and its not even saved to my computer. The computer that i play it on doesn't have an active internet connection so I would like to be able to save right to my pc. I know some people might say it should be online so everyone can see it. Maybe. But you don't even have to publish them so it is as if they are not there anyways. I doubt this would be hard to implement either. Also people could just upload them later if they wanted too. So what do you think?

Hold down the Ctrl key when clicking the save button at the bottom of the screen (it should turn white and say "[save to disk]").

To open local saves, hold down the Ctrl key while clicking the open button.

Is there a way to find [filename].cps on your computer (not using TPT). The reason being, I want to move a file from a computer without an internet connection to my laptop using my memory stick.

Search for "*.cps", that is asterisk dot cps.
