    Can anyone give me link to a portable (read:USB) program that can compile C and C++ code?

    Just install Cygwin in a portable fashion. Instant make and other stuff.

    Not that portable programs will do better beside regular ones...

    Code::Blocks with Mingw

    I did it a month ago.
