Strange shld effect?

Yesterday I was able to create a strange effect with shld where when in contact with neut, a bubble effect appeared around it that followed sparked metal that passes within it. I can't seem to reproduce the effect anymore though.

this is a the save that produced the effect.

    Any ideas?

You mean shield growing by spark?
    It's one of its properties.

No, that's the thing, it acted like a temporary shield, and actually produced a grey bubble around neut and sparked metal in the bubble. Cut power, and the bubble goes away. It was awesome.

    I'm afraid I don't understand what you're saying is happening. :(

Imagine a ghosted outline of of a circle of shld hovering about 30 pixels out, as if the neut in the sphere exerted a pressure on it. I'm looking through the source now to try and explain what happened, but I updated this morning. Any idea how to get the old version back?

Arghh, I can't seem to reproduce this >.<

Nobody has seen this before? It was a very pronounced effect

Actually, neutrons do produce a lot of pressure when trapped. SHLD, especially the weakest kind (that you spawn with the mouse) doesn't require a lot of it. If you have a lot of neutrons travelling in exactly the same spot, the pressure generated would in theory be enough to travel right through a block of SHLD without even touching it.

I know about that, but it usually does not present a visual effect (which is all it appeared to be). Could it have been a strange visual glitch?

No idea. Weirder things have happened. See if you can make a screenshot of it when it happens, if you can reproduce it.
