    When I try to log on to my user account, the first time it says my password is wrong, the seond time it says "The Group Policy Client service failed the logon. Access is denied". I am running Windows 7 64-bit and it is and Administrator account. Please help! All my preferences, files and data are on that account!!

    P.S. I am using another account to post this.

    EDIT: My computer froze while starting up so I held the power off button down. When I started the computer up again, it ran startup repair. It gave me the option to use system restore, I did and after that my account started working again. So basically, never mind.

    Quite easy to fix... But if you can't, just access the files remotely and copy them, or just install windows again without doing a format.

    Install a better AV like AVG or Avast...

    these things commonly occur when heaps of virus' are on your computer.

     I already have Avast, but only the basic version. I also have Norton.

    @Everyone

    It is fixed now, don't worry. :)

     You shouldn't have two anti-virus programs installed at the same time. It can majorly affect your computer in bad ways... For example it actually gives you less protection than what you would normally get with just one anti-virus program. If i were you i would stck with Avast, and remove norton.

    Or remove both and get a better paid one if he was already willing to pay for Norton. (Unless it came with the box, some silly trial)

     Yeah true, if he does have the money he should get a upgraded Avast, and if hes willing. It is worth it though, i have the completely full version for 3 years.

     Yeah, silly trial, but it is one year so I'll stick with it.

    Oh haha, Norton is lower than low, tbh. For a "second antivirus", might I suggest MalwareBytes' Antimalware? It has pretty much the best database ever.
