    The title says it all.

    No, the rules state that if you suggest an element, be descriptive, not "The title says it all", we have to know the properties, what it does and how useful it is.

    It's not really a new element, only a slight modification of an existing one so that it can be turned on when you need it and off when you don't want it to convert, like powered clone. That's why I thought it was very self-explanatory. The uses are also exactly that, it would be very useful in machines were you sometimes want to convert something, and other times want it to remain the same, or when you want to transform a solid inte some other element at will (impossible in the current version of the game). I have wanted to do this such things a couple of times, and that is why I very much would want to see it added to the game. Since we've got powered clone, it seems only natural to have powered converter as well.

    It's very wasy to make, since you just merge the coding for CONV and PCLNE (I'm actually playing around with some custom built powered converters at the moment). It takes no more than half an hour to do, probably less of you aren't as unskilled as I am, so I see no harm in adding it to the game in case somebody (like me) finds it useful.

    But alright, maybe you've got a point. A mod can delete/lock this thread, because I don't really have any idea on how to explain it any further.

    Excuse me for "necro", but
    "merging coding" for CONV and PCLN won't make some powered CONV, just like merging powder and liquid code won't make a powdered liquid or like when putting chocolate inside a printer you won't create a printer that prints with chocolate.

    ~~~ It has its uses and it can be by default turned on etc, discuss.
    Why make a new element? Can't CONV just have the function that when it is sparked by NSCN, it turns off?
    Uh, hate to tell you but I just merged CLNE and LCRY to make PCLN :P
    What on earth are you talking about? And what's up with those absurd analogies?
    Of course, with "merging" I don't mean "mix randomly" or "put one after another", I mean this: Replace the cloning part in PCLN with the converting part from CONV, but keep the bits that makes PCLN powered. And that is exactly what I did when I coded an unofficial powered converter. When I said that I had compiled a working version of my own, I can assure you I was not lying or hallucinating.
    IDK, I like making weird analogies.
    Oh, and you could do it yourself, no? Then post the code and the devs would be way more likely to accept it, because that's who they are.
    He hasn't been here long enough to understand the analogies. Oh well.
    You can't just say "the tittle says it all". It doesn't work that way. Please revise you original post. Its annoying to scroll through a bunch of other messages to try and figure out what a "powered converter" is. And if you claim to have already made it why not just post the link? Your not making any sense Haspaker.
