Oh carp, that means I can't post! Though I had second place in chemistry olympiad and first place in physics olympiad. (Olympiad = a science contest)

    /off topicness level: Over 9000

Back on topic....This isnt The Realistic Chemistry Toy, so please don't suggest anything that's realistic UNLESS it is useful.

Well, we did just start acids and bases, so I don't know much about that, However I do know some about the other bits (dilution, diffusion, etc.)

This could be could be useful, in say seperating gases (selectivly permeable to certain gases)

Mostly I just wanted to see if this is possible.

Meh, that wasn't what I meant... Seems harsh now... oops.

Well, you can always use STOR to allow selective passing. Just

    !set ctype stor gas

    to let through gas, etc.

Why are you not happy the way it is now, it's not ment as a chemistry app it's ment as a application for fun (This would break saves and I sure agree with you it would be cool but still)

I understand that we have elements that take care of this issue, I was just curious as to what would happen if it were added to the game. Would It be possible to code???

@grandmaster it could be slid under the water equalization test category for those who don't want it. also, selectively permiable liquids (aka no o2 admitted in glow)
