Now, on to the basics. Here's the entire game screen in one picture. Just a reminder, here the simulations are called "saves". The column on the right side is the element category, mouse over any icon there and you'll see its elements at the bottom. Above the element boxes there'll also be a description text for you to read. The bottom row, from left to right, is: Save browser, Reset save, create new save, vote up, vote down, tag editor, simulation options, clear screen, log in, edit view, pause.
Save browser opens up a window for you to browse simulations that other people have made. The first page is the "featured" page, while the rest are in order of votes. Hold CTRL while pressing this to open a simulation saved to the computer.
Reset save works when you open a save someone else has made. If you've changed it and wish to reset it to its original form, press this.
Create new save takes whatever you've created and saves it to your user into the server. Hold CTRL while pressing this to save it to the computer. (Have to be logged on for this!)
Up and down vote buttons show your appreciation for this save. Don't ask for votes inside saves.
Tag editor adds "tags" - short words that characterize your save. They too can be voted upon. That's for easier searching.
Simulation options adds different advanced options, like "ambient heat" or that heat transfers through empty space.
Clear screen does what it says: It empties your current save.
Log in: Logging in with your user (Forum user = TPT user!) allows you to save and vote.
Edit view allows you to change what the current viewing mode displays, like pressure and air speed or heat or different effects.
Pausing stops the updating, but allows you to edit the elements inside. Then, there are different kinds of elements. Solids, powders, liquids, gasses, energies and walls. Solids don't fall and stick to whatever shape they're in. Powders fall and (with the exceptions of CLST and CNCT) gather to a triangle pile. Liquids fall and flow to a straight line surface. You might need containers for them. Gasses float and fill the space around them. WTRV also floats upwards. Energies fly around. Walls are separate types of elements that do different things to regular elements, but themselves can't be changed by regular elements. Except the red spotty wall "Detector wall", which senses whether an element is inside it. Also, maybe it would be more relevant in Help?
