i just use simple thing in the console, mgl.drawtext(x,y,mgl.uni"Blah BLAH",'dmnd',xsmono,0)
thats how i draw texts

MGL is Mniip's Graphic Library, basically a lua library that implements some graphical primitives (and not primitives like text)
