    You win calculators at math competitions? I went to a state math competition (so many asians) and didn't win anything!
    our school is INSANE at math. we win state and National mathcounts on a yearly basis, and cream in the amc8 10 and 12. Many ofthe kids that win get calcs...but we never use them in school....calculator is a bad word xD

    agreed. calculators can be a usefull substitute for trig charts but they are no excuse for learning you math skillz

    Yeah i agree with FF50, the TI-84 is what i have, and it hasnt failed me yet.

    The TI-s are USA's college requirements so they get to bloat their price.
