I built two spread lasers recently, first one was about a week and a few days ago, it was pretty weak, but tiny (just over 500 particles, best one ive seen previously had 1.9k particles, with all its unneeded insulation torn away).
Then, today, i finished the second version...i shrunk it down even farther, to just 411-471 (the heat source changes the particle count rapidly, those are the two extremes) particles, while massively increasing its power (it is now roughly on par with the larger spread lasers)
So anyway, im looking for opinions/suggestions about my lasers.
And any bugs you find, it would be very welcome if you could tell me them, as otherwise they are likely to go unnoticed...in the first version, the control panel had a bug that broke it as soon as the laser was turned on, that bug stayed there for days before i noticed it.
I think the PCLN module can be enhanced further to further boost its output. The walls could be made thicker and the Gpmp repositioned to boost it further. I know, it is hard to attain considerable spread while trying to retain High temperature.
