The PSP version isn't  there. You need to look for it by Google.

There's a copy of the source for the PSP port at https://github.com/bri3d/psp-powder-toy

It seems to be based on a slightly older version than the one posted by @Lockheedmartin (View Post), since there is no fan wall and no flood fill.

I have uploaded a copy with the PSP bits removed, and the resolution and particle limit increased to match the version posted by Lockheedmartin.

It is quiet difficult to track down the first ever TPT.
The first version was made by cavemen, and it ran on small hamsters turning a wheel. Imagine the FPS.
In Roman times, slaves were used to power TPT for Julius Caesar.
Sometimes water-wheels proved more effective for TPT powering.
With the invention of the steam engine by Sir James Watt, TPT started prospering and the Industrial Revolution broke out. Runtime was slow, and the engine had to be left running for a few minutes to warm up.
Nowadays, it's a simple matter of starting your computer, and TPT does it's magic.

(In other words, listen to jacksonmj and Lockheedmartin)

Ah, yes.  THAT is the Powder Toy I remember playing.  I remember someone also made a wii homebrew, but I lost track of it.

There are much older games out there.  You want retro, try Falling Sand over at the FSGF.

    Lockheedmartin:

Because there are still few copies of this for PSP that have never been altered from the last distribution. So if you have a PSP it might work if you know what HomeBrew is.

    Here's my oldest copy:

Thanks, that's awesome. There is one older version though. I saw it on the archive.org page for the powder toy website. Unfortunately the actual zip file wasn't ever archived by archive.org so that's what I'm here looking for. The oldest version to EVER be made had the same name as that online powder game literally called Powder Game.

The version you sent me had the title "The Powder Toy". The first ever version of TPT would have instead said "Powder Game". I'll know when I have the original version of TPT because it will have this different title.

Look at this pic to see where the title should show.

I'm guessing the actual powder toy developers have copies of ALL the versions of TPT on their computers just for archival purposes. I bet if Simon was posting here, he'd have a copy. He's like the original TPT developer I think.

No, Skylark is the original developer. You have to email him for that.
