If anyone knows any tricks and/or tips for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 multi-player (Xbox live, Split-screen etc.) and/or Spec Op's: Survival, then post them here as this might help a few people out.
Now I've recently got my first Xbox 360 (the Limited Edition MW3 styled one) and my first CoD Game (MW3) and was wondering what tips there are (Sniping spots, Good/Bad Class combinations etc.)
I have a few of my own tips as well. Post them here and help a friend out.
Now here's my tips and stats:
    Survival
    Highest Wave: 24, Underground
Achieved: First 3 waves knife/shoot with pistol through all 3 waves, Steal Model Shotgun. Wave 4: Kill a dude and switch pistol for MP5 SMG. Clear Wave 4/5 with those two weapons. Go to Weapon Armory and switch the Model Shotgun for an LMG to take out the Choppers. Get a Sentry Gun and place that at the very end of the map (station side) Reload the LMG at the end of each round, not before, not after. Check equipment and Ammo. Buy self revive if out. Stay there and mow down all guys with the LMG and switch when you need to reload. Stay until wave 10. Buy a predator missile. When the Smoke starts for wave 10, run. This is a Juggernaut wave. You can out run them so run. Find a safe place and launch the predator missile at the Juggernaut. If you succeed, you will kill it on impact. If not Flash and shoot at it. Stay up to date with enemy weapon changes. Buy a Riot Team and go back to your sentry gun. Mow 'em down. Juggernaut waves are: Wave 10, 1 Juggernaut. Wave 15 2 Juggernauts and Wave 20, 3 Juggernauts.
I'm writing this from memory so bear with me. My current level is 38 on Spec Op's.

    Multi-Player
Now this is a bit tricky. I have no internet connection for the Xbox, it's out of range, so I have to improvise here.
Sniping: If you're in a good spot and don't want to be compromised then have the assassin perk, A good semi-auto sniper and a silencer. Now when you have a target then Raise your sights and keep them raised for a few seconds, take the shot and wait a few seconds, then lower your sights. That way if they watch the killcam then All they see is What you saw in the scope, themselves being shot and then the scope again, thus meaning they have less information to determine where you were shooting from. If in a building, Place a claymore mine in a doorway or stairs to cover your back. Make sure you can get out in emergency's and always have a short range secondary weapon to hand. I recommend using Marksman on your sniper class.
Well this is what I have to offer so this is ShadowXakar out!

I know one tip that makes it funny. I haven't eve played CoD MW3, though. Just kill everything that moves, no matter is it on your side, just kill it. And if you are mentally limited, and don't like killing everything and want some sniping advice: go as high place you can. Then shoot little bit forward to that direction your enemy is running. I use these tactics in battlefield1942 ( the best game ever) and I hope they work at your game, too.

made it to round 14 on Survival:Resistance. (not good at Survival :/)

First round: Use pistol/knife freely. Steal Model 1887 shotgun and refill ammo after round ends.
Second round: Go for Headshot challenge with pistol, Knife Streak with knife (duh), or Killstreak/ Rampage with Model. Buy a KSG 12/SPAS 12 to replace shotgun, or buy an AK-47 to replace pistol (recommended).
Third, Fourth, Fifth Rounds: Play freely and buy ammo as needed.
Sixth round (Chopper Round): Buy Predator Missile/ RPG-7 before round. You can also just use your AK. Hide under the bridge with the 2 notches in the walls for cover and jump out after you hear the chopper's Minigun fire.
Seventh, Eighth, Ninth rounds: Play freely, Buy C-4.
Tenth Round (Juggernaut round): Use about 3 packs of C-4 on the Juggernaut. After that, shoot him with the AK.
Eleventh round and beyond: Just play, buy ammo and upgrades as needed. You might want to buy Riot Shield Squad to help you later on (DO NOT buy Delta Squad. They are useless and will die quickly).

made it to round 33 on survival resistance I thought (yes it was with a friend).

best things you can buy in survival are the assault rifles c-4 for the juggernauts (or a predator if you prefer that).

I don't really exactly know how I got to that wave hahaha.

when playing multiplayer you should take the assault rifle (first one I thought not the 3 round burst) and you can get pretty much kills with that one. For snipering you pretty much found out I see but most maps are hard to scope on.

    good luck

I got to wave 22 with my brother on resistance, I find when with a partner your best idea is holding down the bottom left corner of the map (where you spawn first turn left and run there) there is a raised flowerbed made of concrete there. From there you can both hide behind it in correspondence to where your defending (Gate or Walkway) With your cover of the raised flower bed you can only be hit by enemies coming towards you, and you can revive your partner instantly by holding X (Xbox 360) or Square (PS3).
When holding down any area of any map then get to cover for the heli's and run for the Juggernauts. Sentry Guns are optional but I didn't use them here. Predator missiles for the Juggernauts and heli's are also optional.
I got to wave 14 on Seatown just by holding down a certain building.
From where you spawn (this tactic is best with a partner) turn to your right, and run towards the corner. Turn the corner and You'll see a building with a ladder. Run to the ladder and both of you go up. one of you camp in the corner and the other by the window you just came through. The enemy only have two entry points, the window and the stairs. As before check equipment and ammo at the end of each round, the weapon cache is at the other end of the market so you just knife out the window and run. You then turn and to get back in in time you aim for the corner of the market which is formed from your building and the market wall. There you will find a pallet of wood with a step-ladder on. Climb onto the pallet of wood and double tap A (Xbox 360) or X (PS3) onto the ladder and then through the window. So there's a tip and a half.

Wow I made it to like round 36 by myself in survival using just an ak47 and the ump.
It was on seatown, and I also got to round 42 on something else. I was clutching like sh*t to not get killed. Just camp out in a building and when juggernauts come get a sentry gun or usually 3to 4 of them, and a regular delta squad.. when you get really high level in the rounds buy the riot shield squad and wait for one to die. And take his riot shield from his dead body. Usually though I run around the map and get Into a rotational cycle, so you can stage each round ex. Take out the juggernauts at one area, then the helis at another area, then dogs and bomb guys. Just like zombies, except these zombies have guns and suicide vests..... I hope that helped but just remember to stage each.level so its easier to take out all the badies. As for guns, take their shotguns, ak's and buy the acr, ump, mp7, and any other assault rifles you can afford. Special note: get the m60 if you can, and save it for the juggernauts.

And I did all of this by myself. Here's my record scoreboard: 43,45,32,36,31,21,12,14,11,16,27,28,39. :)

I did all of these scores by MYSELF without anyone else, besides how I got to round 21 with my friend. That's it though.

Another trick on the African town map, is to hid e on top of the table near the respawn point. Its near the little trading area with food and baskets and stuff like that. There are two stairs near it that are like at 90 degrees to each other. Just jump onto that table and the dogs cannot get you and grenades won't kill you either. Its the best glitch spot ever. Plus the table is surrounded by walls on 3 sides so you will hear them coming down the small steps of the stairs before they are near you. Sometimes they glitch just above the stairs on your right (if your looking at the small food-on-tables-area) so you might have to chuck a grenade or c-4 over the wall to kill them. Just be prepared because they will also try to sneak around a corner on the other side of the market square to get you. Just use the m16 to pick em off one at a time. When the helicopters come go under the roofed area. Use the ump to take them out. When juggernauts come rig the whole stairs area with c-4 and claymores. (About 10 claymores for each juggernaut). I hope this helps. Its right near the spawn point in the first map ( the African map). Enjoy the tips n' tricks.
