Additions to PROP & 1 Unique Idea

Additions to PROP Tool and Enable Elements Option
Here are some Ideas I came up with after doing some thinking.

If the following were to occur, it could possibly make the PROP Tool more efficient.

    1. Change the PROP Tools shape to where users can increase and decrease its shape on the same level as that of the Sizing Tool (The thing that makes circles big).
*This will play a key roll in the next idea*

    2. Give the PROP Tool a hot-key (Shift + P). When the hot-key is pressed, a menu similar to the Simulation Options Menu, will appear. The menu has the list of properties (Type, Ctype, Temp, Life, Tmp, Vy, Vx, maybe Gy, Gx or others
I may have missed). Beside the property is a Interval box (For entering numbers) and a Check box (For enabling it). When a box is checked, it applys the corresponding intervals to what ever element or elements you click on or drag the Sizable PROP Tool over.

I had more but forgot them during the thinking process, sorry.

Example: I make a 5x5 GLAS box and hollow it out, leaving a 3x3 space in the middle. I place a particle of PBCN in the center and set its Ctype to NEUT. I then change gravity to Radial and surround it with a good amount of DEUT I then bring up PROP Tool Menu, then I type 100 inside the Life Property interval box and click the enable box the press Ok. I then use my PROP Tool and set life of the PBCN to 100.I unpause physics and watch it blow up nicely.

I know that took a lot of words to say but it can be done much faster and I believe these additions will help. This will also allow people to make creations that don't reqiure saving a ton of stamps that will have to overlap because if you see life of PBCN to 100, it will set the life of all PBCN to 100.

I'm pretty sure some of you all can come up with more additions that could be as useful. Someway to make the above process faster and easier to achieve.

    ENABLE EXTRA ELEMENTS OPTION
I've heard countless people say "The elements is approching its max of 255 (Unless you do this and that to make it over 120000" or something like that. This could fix it if it can be done.

A menu option that will turn on or switch the set of Elements or Classes (Shift + E), just incase we reach or manage the other option of exceeding the limit of 255 Elements. Of corse it might lag if you enable it but it probly shouldn't because it will switch the element class with the element class of your choice.
By using the hot-key, it will make it much faster to switch element classes in and out, but the real questions are:
    Is i a good Idea?
Can it be done? & if so,
    Who will program it?

    Please Comment and Discuss!

umm... i am not sure that just adding the ability to switch elements  with a hotkey will work, since there are still a set amount of elements coded in the game

we're really not that close to the max element limit... currently we have about 161 elements... out of 255...
and for that prop tool thing, try using the console, you can just type in "!set life pbcn 100" to do what you said. To open the console hit the "~" or "`" key.

not "!set life pbcn 100" ,"!set life pbcn 10"

See that's where the problem comes in if you set pbcn 100 or whatever then it sets ALL the pbcn 100 so yeah

Ok. So if your saying I can use the console for this instead of my idea (Which I use ALL the time), whats the purpose of the PROP Tool. If it can do everything the console can do, then why do we have it. Sure it makes things easier, but when someone suggests a possible idea on improving something that's currently taking the place of something used in the past, then why does it exist?
When you choose it, it looks like a pixel, but when you click, it goes to the size of a wall (4x4 pixels), which is confusing and annoying.

    Omega gets shot down again....
Well I guest this is another FAIL thread..... once again...

What no it isn't on my above post I never said it was a bad idea I actually like what your suggesting :P and just to correct you PROP does one thing which the console can't when you type !set temp wifi 200 then it sets ALL tthe wifi's temp's to that number but if you use prop it only changes the selected area of the element not all the whole element in the save without PROP it would be hard to make saves which r equire a lot of wifi's on different frequencies therefore by using PROP it makes it easier :D all that is frustrating is that you have to add I think 273.15 to the original tmep you want cause PROP measures its tempratures in kelvins

EDIT: PROP is basically a very precisw console :3
