Rules for Proper Forum Grammar

    1. Verbs always matches their subjects.
    2. Sentence fragments bad.
    3. Be more or less specific.
    4. Prepositions aren't words to end sentences with.
    5. And don't start a sentence with a conjunction.
    7. Don't change the tenses of your verbs; it annoyed people.
    8. Punctuation is really important because if you dont use it no one understand you because your sentences go on and on and then you often start to forget what you were typing about but you keep going because you dont have any sentence structure since everything is just combined into one big thing thats impossible to understand and after people read it theyre like "wtf did i just read that makes no sense omg use punctuation" and stuff like that so please use it.
    9. PEOPLE WHO TYPE IN ALL CAPS TO INSULT PEOPLE ARE ALL IDIOTS AND SHOULD DIE IN A FIRE!
    10. plz dnt act lik ur in a txt msg!
    11. Proofread so you don't an important word.
    12. Don't randomly add a bunch of text effects!
    6. Never put information out of logical order.
    13. Don't be repetitive or redundant, don't rephrase the same thing, and don't keep saying the same stuff over and over.

    15. Use correct capitalization - it's the difference between helping your Uncle Jack off a horse, and helping your uncle jack off a horse!
    • 16. Don't add bullet points
    • when they're not necessary.

    10. Please use proper words and avoid "chatspeak" or "leetspeak".

    We understand not everyone speaks English as their first language, however your posts should be more legible than something like this:

    Helping Uncle Jack, off his horse is my favourite example of comma usage.

    The biggest reason we have for using full English on the forums, is some users might not be fluent English speakers and may have to use a translation service to view the page. If the page is full of crap then they aren't going to know what the hell anyone is talking about. If full English is used, it'll be a lot clearer for them.

    Google Translate:
    English-> Hello how are you
    Spanish-> ¿Cómo estás
    English ->
    Hello, how are you?
    Spanish -> Hola, ¿cómo estás?

    This is common internet stuff though. We shouldn't have to make rules for common sense.
