actually, what could be done is lava, when it is melted stone could become brick when cooled. that way you wouldnt have to add new elements and it would be a bit more realistic. then but of course brick still will turn into stone with pressure. it would be like the missing link.

You dont know your tpt history very well... Thats not the reason why it was added. When paste was added brck was added as well. Its like sponge and water together they supply uses.
No. BRCK was added well before PSTE. BRCK was added 6 September 2010, PSTE was added 24 November 2010. When first added, BRCK did exactly what it does now, it broke under pressure, and was meltable. I think @Neospector(View Post) is correct about the reason BRCK was added.
