Update less often

I think powder toy is updated to often. When it is updated, there are practically no changes, and often the change list on the front page isn't updated.

People would benefit from updates made less frequently, but with more content. This would make it easier for people to identify the changes and actually give proper criticism and feedback on the update, rather than being confronted with many different updates made in quick concession.

For example, look the the 1.8 patch for minecraft, which was pretty drawn out. It gave people time to identify what would be included ect.

mm yeah but most of the updates on tpt are bugfixes or engine improvements so they aren't likely to be noticed but without them you could be stuck for 2 weeks with one anoying bug. but i agree that sometimes it could be quiet anoying if you downloaded it again and 2 days later see a message new version available.
i respect the devs and simon for keeping this game updated so fast.

No. I hope it update ASAP
But that may kill @cracker64 ;)

p.s. As TPT is an open source game, I treat every version as SVN, it should be update once a new idea comes to cracker's mind

I don't mind the frequent updates. It means the project is active and thriving.

    in my opinion:

-Bug fixes should be as often as possible.

-Content such as new elements and features should be more infrequent.

yup, i like the frequent updates

NOW what i WOULD like to see is the dang update log UPDATED....i mean even just saying bugfixes would be nice....though i would kinda like to know which bugs as knowing whether somethings been fixed or not when you go start bugging a mod about it is generally nice XD

yea. In pg there reads bug fix if there is a bug fix. We should really have same system.

I like the frequent updates. It means the devs are hard at work.

The better change-log is on the first post in the official feedback thread.
I like updates :) The beta should end up with the more frequent updates, and release a little less.
