Compaq Computer Question

    Ok, I was recently given a Compaq computer for free. The only problem with it is a virus. I know all I have to do to fix it is to FDISC it, but I dont remember where to find it. If antone can help it will be highly appreciated.

    well i guess I cant FDISC it but There has to be a way to format the hard drive.

    just wipe the disk if youve got nothing on it

    Turn off the computer. Put a linux/windows/mac install disk in. Open it from BIOS. Install over the entire drive, there should be option(atleas there is on linux) to format the drive.

    go to my computer right click the hard drive icon click format (or equivalent)
