I'd just, er, like to suggest some... elements for... er... powder toy.

(radio wave)
changes vibration radius according to heat.
Heat up objects.
Generates spark when hits [RDAT]
much like PHOT.
registers as persistent on fancy display.
can have a ctype of SPRK or [CMND] to have those effects.
[RDAT]
(Radio antennae)
Generates SPRK when hit by [RDWV].
[PRAT]
(powered radio antennae)
like [RDAT] but powdered
[CHIP]
(computer chip)
initiates scripts when [CMND] hits it
use ID or location co-ord to give it a script
powdered element.
[CMND]
(command)
green SPRK, used with [CHIP] for above purpose.
generated by [INPT]
can be carried by METL, [CBLE], IRON and conductive elements.
[INPT]
(input)
like BTRY for [CMND]
[CBLE]
(cable)
only carries [CMND], but not SPRK.
[MODM]
(modem)
turns SPRK into [CMND]
and make 'em available in powered mode, too!

Yeah, if you do make some of these... Then make the rest of the category. like computer stuff, radio stuff... even give advanced electronics their own category! PLEASE! -

I like these ideas.
Unfortunately, only elements that are a significant leap forward, such as soap (and the whole "close to moving solid" thing) or if it is very useful to most members. Maybe someone will put this in their mod... or or if it is still denied, you could make a mod.
Do you do electronics?
I do, along with many other members. Many of these ideas won't actually aid in the creation of electronics, but they will only create a fancy alternative to existing methods. Otherwise, these could be used by members that prefer not to get deep into electronics and just show simple, basic and "fancy" circuitry.
If CHIP is what I think it is, then that may be helpful

The JPT project includes hyper-realistic electronics. Wait for it.
Also, they are not simple. Not simple to code. They'll need a new layer, we already have four.
JPT also includes Electric mode.
JPT's first release is far from soon.
