The DM is a Dungeon Master, and he makes the stuff!

SO, the DM as explained above makes the world, quests, and other companions that the players play in and do and interact with. There can be a main quest, or just side quests, or both. the point of the game is to get XP from killing guys and completing quests that the DM organizes. You get weapons, like swords, bows, wands, axes, staves, halberds, sythes, glaives, daggers, crossbows, kamas, kukris, spears, and any others the DM chooses. You cast spells, too, if you are a spell-casting class. A class is something like Fighter, Monk, Wizard, Bard, Rogue (thief), Sorcerer, Paladin, Cleric, Druid, Ranger, and some others and each has completly different stats. A race is something like elf, human, dwarf, halfling, orc, half-elf, gnome, and some others, also with different stats. You have to think of reality to get through situations. It is CRAZY WICKED FUN!!!!! There is more to explain but that is the basics. thanks! ;)

I WILL BUY SKYRIM THE MINUTE IT COMES OUT!!!!!! Oblivion was a great game, and Skyrim will be better! But just because Skyrim has dragons doesn't mean it is JUST like DND. DND doesn't have to have dragons in it, you know.
