Super 8, it had a disappointing ending(however alecnotalex obviously wasn't paying attention). The alien gets a telepathic link with everyone it touches, so when it touches the main character(a kid who makes model trains), the alien develops the concept of making a smaller, "model" version of its ship and leaving. Now, despite the movie being relatively strong this ending was disappointing in that it was very simple and bland, and wasn't profound despite the rest of the movie being so well made.
