Simply that, I suggest we have a dotted line tool and if possible a strait line tool. I think a good way to activate the strait line tool would be either press the number pad button that is the direction of the line you want or if you don't have a number pad hold a button down then drag it out in the direction you want and powder toy will work out what direction you want the line to go from the first few pixels of the line. It would also use the location of where the mouse was pressed when the button was held.
Any suggestions appreciated.

And also if you want to make a mix of materials or a clone grid a grid box would be good too.
