As the month passes, the A.H. fighters prepare to face the aliens...
From the many carriers in the planet's orbit, thousands of Fury and Marauder fighters descend into the atmopshere and head towards the magnetic beacon, supported by Saracen bombardment. After a few days of air-to-air combat and hundreds of lost fighters, a clear path was cut towards the structure. A few dozen Corsair troop-transports cut towards the beacon and board it. After 1 day of constant, brutal close-quarters fighting, the magnetic core was reached and ready to be detonated. After a power explosive charge was planted, the facility was evacuated and all nearby aircraft retreated. Soon, the charge detonated and the whole facility exploded in a cloud of plasma and super-charged particles. Now the aliens were totally naked, their forces mostly destroyed by Saracen bombardment and their airforce severly damaged by interceptor attacks and the A.H. armada right on top of them.
With the magnetic field down, the orbiting ships begin unleashing Hell on the aliens below, disabling most of their AA cannons. Now that the consulate was exposed, the missile donated by the Zylit was dropped onto the continent. As the missile soars through the air, the A.H. armada retreats and the within only a few moments, the entire alien planet has a huge cloud of ash and smoke pretuding from it... We did it. We destroyed the alien homeworld.
Hours after victory is declared, the alien armadas aproaching Earth halt. They await orders, but nothing arrives. They begin sending distress signals towards the high-ranking alien motherships, but they too do not know what to do. With the leaders no longer alive, there was no one to give orders, so the distressed alien would listen to anyone... The A.H.C. sends them one message:
..."Attack your own kind."
Within only a few weeks of the message, most of the alien armadas were destroyed from fighting between eachother. The remaining alien stragglers who weren't fooled by the message will be destroyed with time and due to their small number. They posses no real danger to Earth.
The war has ended. And humanity has won.

That's a rude 'thank you' to someone who just saved Earth.
We check the pod, but we find nothing but an alien psychic trooper desperatly trying to escape the fighting of its fellow peers. Since he appears to be one of the few that was not fooled by the order to shoot up everyone, he is taken in for study.
Also, since the war is over, we give EVERYONE access to drexon and our hover cars! You're welcome.
The 2 colony brigades sent a few months ago were placed into hibernation in a secluded area for a period of time to ensure their safety. Now that fighting has stopped, they are ordered once again to proceed with the colony missions.

Good job, comrades! I think I'll have alot of fun with that Drexon...
After we notice that the AIET is safe, we decide to use it as a defensive systems for cities. By firing powerful rays into the atmosphere, we can heat it up to temperatures around 1700C, melting most metals in a missile and vaporizing its electronics. These are set up above Moscow, Lublin, Agadir, Cairo, Tunguska, and we start offering it to our allies as a trade.
Now that the dreaded war is no more, we commence the currency revolution. We request that all citizens return the paper money to special collectors and replace it with a large amount of Gold and Silver. Transports between Earth and Zeta-6 initiate. Unfortunately, we did get rebels who feel comfortable with paper currency and claim that they are prepared to separate from the RNN. We are liberal, and so we allow them to thrive in North Canada. I wonder how long they'll survive...

The Empire completes it's iron fusion project and is now producing lasers powerful enough to trigger a fusion like reaction within the element iron. Once started it will cause a chain reaction that can wipe out entire cities!
