Yes I've just run the equation and there are exactly 94.572 channels every 100 degrees (max temperature - 273.15 \ 100)

0 Kelvin is -273 Celsius. and by the way, it DOES exceed 10 thousand degrees. I've noted temps up to at least 15,000. you just have to attain that temperature naturally. you can't set it.
it's physically impossible to exist below the minimum temp.

so if i set the temp about max temp higher than 9700.75 are there that many more channels or are they just 2 extra channels?
why can't we in the console do "set max_temp 999999999999999"

Because console != coding. max_temp cant be increased unless you modify powder.h
