    that depends on if guessing is done per-word or per-character. Definitely there's more entropy in words, but there actually already exist password crackers that instead of cracking by character crack by word. However right /now/ it's not a feasible thing to crack, since the amount of words in English is far larger than the amount of letters, and because it's a relatively unpopular way of improving password strength.

    Actually, that's a neat idea. There should be something like an userscript that automatically hashes passwords you enter while registering or logging in somewhere :3
