@code1949(View Post) the difference between this and TPG is that TPT has a moderating team, and MANY, MANY users willing to help out by reporting. AS long as there is a moderating team, and a good portion of users ARENT idiots, TPT wont, and cant go to hell.
I think a test is a bit harsh, i think it would scare a good portion of users away. However, i do agree with a terms and conditions-like sheet, and instead of forcing users to read it, there would be heavy persuasion, such as:
at the top of the terms and conditions sheet, in large text, it would say: PLEASE READ THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS, they will help you become a productive, helpful, and intelligent user, and most importantly, not reading them will greatly increase your chances of getting banned.
@roguegeneral--(View Post) so, by using basic logic, it would be infinitely better to force people to read a set of rules and then give them a pop quiz, yes, GREAT idea. I dont see any reason NOT to make TPT a dystopian society.
@dnerd(View Post) ok how about this. Put the rules on the sign up and have them agree to the rules, kind of like Itunes. Ps PT is sort of a dystopian society as it is.
Im going to take a wild guess and say your posting this because of me? I never really did anything to you and Im amazed at how you are just implying that IM the noob. Its ok we all know your going through puberty and hate me for nothing lol.
@Ark5000 I don't think thats the best way to get on his good side :)
It's cuz of us all noobs. I only skimmed over the rules cuz I'm registered at a lot of forums so I basically know the usual rules. But then I screwed up once and decided to read them carefully
