One Way Walls

    The only reason I can think of for this is that portal takes particles in a certain way and they emerge a random different way, so say you had to accurately drop something through it - it would go everywhere. You could, of course, set a different channel for every pixel but it would be easier just to leave it. It could be handy in some situations but it's fairly telling that offhand I can't think of any.

    TL;DR: Make one-pixel pipes next to each other a lot.

    Use a giant fan wall to push all particles one way, and the fan is so strong that a particle cannot turn around.

    Also, whats wrong with using portal or pipe?
