IR phot could raise temperatures indefinitely, Radio phot could be invisible, Microwave could raise temperatures a lot faster, UV could penetrate solids, but nothing like metl or even brick. X-Ray could penetrate all but dmnd, shld, and metl, and gamma could penetrate anything but dmnd, and change things like neut.

What is the threshold for the photon varieties? Are you people suggesting up to Gamma-Radiation or all the way up to pair-instability?
